Cheapest Wedding Venues in Europe 2027 & COSTS!

If your total wedding budget is around $30,000 - $50,000 US dollars for a three-day wedding in Europe, you should be booking venues for a fraction of that price. I'm about to show you some of my favorites. They are some of the most beautiful yet cheapest options throughout Europe that will keep you on budget and that you're going to love.

In order to accomplish these weddings, we have searched high and low for the most cost-effective properties that are gorgeous. You don't need to do a lot for them, but they are extremely cost-effective and affordable. I'm going to share just a handful of some of my favorites with you.

Before I dive in, these are real wedding venues. They are not VRBOs. They are not Airbnbs. They are real wedding venues with the infrastructure to host a wedding. They have catering kitchens, load-in areas, and the correct power and lighting setups to host events. An Airbnb is not always a wedding venue. So keep in mind, when you see prices for Airbnbs, that is something different from what a wedding venue can be.

Some of these venues do have accommodations on site, so you will have those options to compare. I'm also going to be sharing the prices of these venues today, and know that prices change all the time. You will get the most up-to-date pricing when you reach out to these properties if you'd like to get married at one of them. All prices I share today are inclusive of value-added taxes and have been converted from euros to US dollars as of today's exchange rate. So let's dive in.

Venetsanos Winery

One of my first favorite and cheapest properties is Venetsanos Winery in Santorini. I got married in Santorini, so we're going to start here because I think it's one of the most fabulous places to get married.

For some reason, there's a misconception that it's extremely expensive to get married in Santorini, but my experience, and the weddings we've planned on a budget there, say otherwise.

This venue itself is a cliffside winery that literally blends into the rock and overlooks the caldera sea. It's on the western side of the island, so you're getting the sunset over the water. Literally unreal, breathtaking, magical sunsets that just make you feel things.

The venue is near the town of Megalochori, which is one of my favorite hidden gems in Santorini. It is very tucked away. You can't even drive cars into parts of the town. It has a cobblestone street vibe with little restaurants and Airbnbs tucked in for your guests to stay, which is great because the winery itself doesn't have accommodations on site.

Your guests can stay in Megalochori and come here for the wedding day itself. For your welcome dinner, I recommend Alessacnee Wine Bar in Megalochori. I went there five times the last time I was in Santorini. You need to get the baklava.

Let's talk about how inexpensive Venetsanos Winery is. Inclusive of VAT and after converting from euros to US dollars, it's around 5,000 US dollars to rent the property for your wedding day for up to 60 guests.

After that, there is about a 25 euro per guest increase, up to around 100 guests.I specialize in intimate weddings, so keeping it smaller is always better. This is a great price to keep your venue budget at or below $5,000 so you can use the rest of your budget for everything else. Perfect for a $30.000 to $50,000 wedding.

Now, a caveat: you do have to use their bar package. They are a winery, so that makes sense. In Santorini, alcohol can be expensive, especially if you want an open bar the entire time.

Take it from me, I spent an inappropriate amount on the bar at my wedding. But if you choose a beer and wine bar only, it's about 100 euros per person for the evening versus 123 euros per person for a full bar.

I recommend sticking with beer and wine and maybe doing an open bar for part of the night. I have personally tasted the wine here and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Masseria Fulcignano

Next, we're heading to Puglia in Italy. If you don't know Puglia, it's the heel of the boot. This venue is called Masseria Fulcignano.

Puglia is not as obvious as Tuscany, the lakes, or the Amalfi Coast, but more couples are starting to discover it. We're actually headed there soon for a wedding this season.

I like it because it offers a different aesthetic. Instead of rolling vineyards and greenery, you get desert minimalism and warm stone tones, which is a refreshing change.

This masseria is a 12th-century farmhouse located in an archaeological park. It's surrounded by olive trees and feels very local.

It also has accommodations on site. It can sleep 52 people across 16 rooms, which is great if you want everyone together. The rooms are large and have air conditioning.

Pricing depends on the season. In the low season, it's around $2,300 US dollars per night. For two nights, that's still under $5,000. In the high season, it's about $5,900 US dollars per night.

However, since there are 16 rooms, you can offset costs by having guests pay for their stay. This can significantly reduce your overall expense.

There is a 2:00 AM curfew, which is great.

Caveats: Puglia is harder to reach. You'll likely fly into Bari or Brindisi, which are smaller airports, adding travel time.

Also, there are food and beverage minimums depending on the season, generally around 60 to 90 guests depending on demand.

Palazzo Parisio

Next is an incredible value: Palazzo Parisio.

It is wild how inexpensive this venue is. It feels like a mini Versailles on the Mediterranean, at less than 1% of the cost of Versailles.

Palazzo Parisio is an 18th-century palace with gilded interiors, gardens, and an orangery.

Malta itself is often overlooked. It's its own country off the coast of Sicily, about two hours south.

The rental price is around $3,300 US dollars for the day.

You can use both indoor and outdoor spaces, depending on your style.

Caveat: there are no accommodations on site, but nearby hotels are available. This also allows you to use vintage Maltese buses for transportation, which adds a fun experience.

Solar de Pancas

Next, Portugal for Solar de Pancas.

If you love Tuscany but not the pricing, this gives a similar feel at a lower cost. It's a historic estate from the 1400s surrounded by vineyards.

There are no accommodations on site, so guests should stay in Lisbon. You can host events there and transport guests to the venue.

Prices range from just over $1,300 to just under $4,000 US dollars depending on timing.

There are guest minimums on weekends: 90 for Friday and 150 for Saturday but none for midweek weddings.

Since this is a destination wedding, the day of the week doesn't matter, and choosing midweek can save thousands.

Château de Puissentut

Finally, France.

France has become more expensive, but this venue offers value: Château de Puissentut, about an hour outside Toulouse.

It is a medieval chateau with a courtyard, garden, and pool. It sleeps 27 onsite, with additional accommodations nearby.

The event fee is around $5,600 US dollars, and accommodations cost about $2,100 US dollars per night.

If you divide the event fee across your stay and combine it with lodging, your effective nightly cost is just under $5,000 US dollars.

Guests can help offset costs by paying for rooms.

There is also an additional fee of about $540 US dollars for extra events like welcome or farewell dinners.

If your budget is between $30,000 and $50,000 US dollars, these venues make a three-day wedding in Europe possible without sacrificing beauty or experience.
