Hello there! I’m Melina, and I’m lucky to call the mountains of Vermont home. I spent my childhood in Italy and worked in Paris, making me fluent in French and Italian. 

I fell in love with weddings back in high school, when I worked at a florist. After internships in the event planning world during my college years, my dream was set - I wanted to be a wedding planner. So I packed my bags and moved to Charleston, SC, to work at a luxury wedding planning firm. After returning to my hometown of Boston, my passion for weddings took an backseat as I built my career in technology, but I always knew I would be back.

As my friends began to get engaged, I helped them plan their weddings and was reminded of how happy it made me to be a part of such an important day. I also noticed how important it was for a couple planning their wedding to have a guide through the complexities of the wedding world. So much of the process is kept behind closed doors, making an already stressful time even more so. I wanted to be that guide for couples, so I launched my own planning business in New England. 

Growing up in Italy, I caught the travel bug early as we explored Europe by train and plane. In recent years, I fell in love with solo travel, and have taken my cat, Baby, on month-long trips across Italy and France. The combination of my love of traveling, my languages, and my passion for events made destination event planning a natural fit. So when the opportunity to work for KNE came up, I jumped at the opportunity.
