Hello there! My name is Niara. I call Anchorage, Alaska home, but am so lucky to live bi-coastly and also have a home base on Long Island, New York. As you get to know me you find that having two home bases about sums me up. I have roots in many different places including DC, Ohio, and Chicago and I am always looking to continue my exploration of the world city by city! 

When I am not exploring around the US, I am traveling non-stop, snuggling up to my cats, Mona Lisa and Rhone, and always living out a zero-waste lifestyle! 

I started my career working in the public eye as Miss District of Columbia Teen USA, where I was able to find joy meeting new people every day and started to spark my flame for travel! 

After college, I began working in the K-8 education world and slowly realized my passion for event planning through planning middle school dances for students. Since then, I have grown my portfolio by planning all types of social events. As I was getting my certification in Event Planning at The University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kay became my mentor! I started with an apprenticeship with KNE and I quickly found my love for planning weddings. I realized how special it is to cheer on and support couples on their special day!

Now, several years later in my role as COO & Event Producer, my main priority is to help cultivate a uniquely special and individualized wedding experience for each one of our diverse clients. I have a knack for logistics and finding anything…I mean anything! I especially love to help plan weddings that are eco-friendly and waste-conscious, so that we can preserve the natural beauty of this planet we live on! As someone who is neuro-divergent, I have a passion for planning events that are not only fully accessible to all, but also prioritize the unique qualities and needs of all couples and their guests.

Niara means “woman of high purpose”  and I strive to live by that each day! I hope to always lead a life guided by purpose, passion, kindness and joy and hope that I am able to share that through every wedding planned, guest interaction, and travel memory made.
