Vanessa Wipfler
Portland, ME
Event Designer
Oh, hi! I'm Vanessa!
For over a decade, I’ve been bringing couples’ wedding dreams to life! My love for people, combined with being a hopeless romantic, and having a passion for creativity and details, has made being in the wedding and events industry a no brainer to me.
I got my start in wedding planning 10 years ago working as an assistant in Charleston, SC. Since then, I worked for some of Boston’s top event companies doing everything from small gatherings to ultra high-end weddings, and I owned my own wedding planning company for a bit! All of these experiences allow me to bring luxury standards and touches to any event and budget.
What drives me most is the creative process—the thrill of turning visions into reality, crafting the perfect ambiance, and making sure every detail feels just right. I believe each wedding should be as individual as you are and I love bringing every couple’s unique love story into every element of their celebration.
I’ve been a New England girl most of my life, recently moving back to Portland, Maine with my husband and our two-year-old son. In my spare time, I’ve had some incredible adventures—camping in the Sahara Desert, exploring Christmas markets in Switzerland, zip lining in Costa Rica and even helping Kay (yes, the boss babe of KNE) tie the knot on the cliffs of Santorini. I also have a weak spot for an Aperol Spritz, belting Taylor Swift songs, and game nights with friends and family.
Looking forward to meeting you and chatting about your wedding—whether it’s big, small, or totally offbeat—I’m here to make it the perfect celebration of you!
